Steve Ballmer punches Apple hard at CRN Interview
At an interview with CRN, Microsoft CEO Steve Balmer opened up with the company’s future like never before. He clearly stated that Microsoft will not leave any segment free to dominate for Apple. His exact statements were ,” We are trying to make absolutely clear we are not going to leave any space uncovered to Apple”. With the introduction of Windows 8 Surface Tablets Ballmer and his team is showing how the tech giant is slowly changing their image into the eyes of the consumers. Windows 8 introduced the all new Metro look that allows for a smoother and more engaging experience. Ballmer stated that Microsoft is way better than Apple in terms of team management and productivity.
In the future, Microsoft might bring out a smartph
one as well. The hints were evident in Ballmer’s Interview with CRN. The Surface Tablet is the first Microsoft product that will integrate software and hardware from their very own in-house development, much like what Apple did for years. Ballmer because pretty serious with their vision for Windows and Tablets stating that ,” “But we are not going to let any piece of this [go uncontested to Apple],Not the consumer cloud. Not hardware software innovation. We are not leaving any of that to Apple by itself. Not going to happen. Not on our watch.”
In a world infected with patent rights and intense competition to attract the consumer market it will be interesting to see how Microsoft plays their cards in the upcoming years. As of now the company is filled with high expectations of their upcoming releases.
