Top 5 Android Apps for March 2012
March is the last month of a thrilling first quarter and I am back with my Top 5 Android Apps for March 2012. If you followed my February 2012 Edition you will remember that I was talking about how dull the month was with no major releases and nothing that stands out substantially than the type of Android Apps we have seen already. Following this perspective March seems to be refreshing with some huge releases and lots of Interesting Apps that caught my attention over the last couple of days. Anyways, here is the Top 5 List for this month.
Angry Birds Space
The Birds are back and with a bang. I first got the news few weeks ago that Angry Birds Team Rovio is planning for a brand new version which will feature a totally new concept of birds attacking their invaders. Once I downloaded Angry Birds Space I soon realized the level of creativity and grey cells put into each and every level of the game. One of the best things that come with the new Angry Birds Space is the ability to shoot your birds judging the gravity of certain planets.
The levels are tough and you need to storm your brain a bit in order to complete them. Once you do complete each and every level then the feeling is increasingly satisfying. There are two version of Angry Birds Space Available as of now. One is the free version that will show up occasional advertisements and features less level. However if you are a true Angry Birds fan then I highly suggest that you go with the paid version of Angry Birds Space.
Draw Something by OMGPOP
If you are unfamiliar with the giant social gaming site Omgpop then let me tell you that Zynga Games recently invested 180 Million Dollars purchasing this particular game developed by the company. OMGPOP is a website where casual gamers meet head to head to compete in various games like Pool, Draw Something, and Letterbox etc. As I told you before Draw Something is their most popular game driving in the maximum traffic. Finally this game can be enjoyed by millions of Android users worldwide.
Basically you have a common white board where you draw a word that you previously mentioned to the server. Other players will try to guess the word by seeing the progress of your drawing. The player who guesses the right word first wins the round. This is one of the most addictive and fun social games in the Android Market till date and I would not mind spending just a dollar for it. Also there is a free version of the App with limited features.
JustDial for Android
This App must be of particular interest to all my Indian friends out there. If you are unaware then let me tell you that JustDial the famous assistant service across our country has an official Android App allowing you to search for almost anything. The App uses your GPS location and comes up with accurate results. If you are looking for a restaurant or something like that then you can install access their phone number and call them.
The App also comes with features like making your own personalized lists based on Cities and making them sharable with your friends via Email or SMS. I think this is a great App that will come in handy when you are with your friends chilling out.
Six Guns
This is yet another superb looking RPG game from the famous company called Gameloft. If you played games like Call of Juarez or Red Dead Redemption then Six Guns will look very similar. The Wild West is portrayed beautifully in this game and sometimes you will simply forget that this is a running on your mobile or tablet.
Six Guns features 40 highly intensive missions with a nice story to top Ii up. The open world style gameplay is fascination and the world itself is very diverse with indulgence to the Wild West flavor in every corner of the map. You can ride hoses to travel across the area. There are plenty of guns to choose from and the controls are easy to grasp and pretty responsive.
One of the best thing about Six Guns is the fact that it’s completely free. However do not be fooled when you see the game size of 1.4 Mb because you need to download over 1GB of file after the initial installation. The App is completely free and it’s definitely worth a shot.
Pose: Fashion Beauty and Style
IF you are a fashion addict or you are one of those who loves to stay updated with the latest trends in clothing and styling then this is the perfect app for you. It’s been in the Android Market for quite some time now and it recently caught my attention. You can follow fashion trends kind of like the Twitter Hash Tags. Pose also allows you to upload your own picture and share your fashion sense with the rest of the community. It’s a free App and you can find out all the features once you download it.
